The curse of bad teeth

So on New Years Eve day I took my little Jake to the hospital to have his teeth worked on and boy was he in for the works. All of his back teeth got caps on them, he had 1 tooth removed and 4 root canals. I thought when I brought him home that he would be in so much pain but I don't think I have ever seen him so happy before in his life. I guess he was in so much pain (which he didn't ever really complain)that this was nothing. What a little trooper, if it would have been me I'm sure I would still be on some kind of pain killer.
